This wasn't an "optimal playthrough" by any stretch of the imagination. AE was kept around 30-40 most of the time - except after Imperial Challenge when it skyrocketed to the 70's. However after watching Lambda's brilliant Pax Aeterna run I said "why not"? Unlike Lambda's run however which was done in a staggering few decades, I didn't optimise at all, building my roads, conquering at leisure, following Rome's mission tree. I actually just wanted to grab the "Desecrate 10 Holy Sites" ach. Fun fact, this run didn't actually start with Pax Aeterna in mind. Pax Aeterna as Rome in 2.0.3 version, completed in 671 AUC.
